A Kinyarwanda proverb cautions that when you keep covering up for a sorcerer for long, he will finish all your offspring one by one. This is the relationship between the discredited UN mission in DRC, MONUSCO, and the Kinshasa regime. When the Kinshasa regime crafted the plan for the FARDC, FDLR, and the rest of the evil coalition to kill people in Kishishe as a ruse designed to influence sanctions on the M23 rebels who were wiping the floor with FARDC, MONUSCO came in handy to seal the plan with a fraudulent report.
MONUSCO hastened to conduct what they called ‘investigations’ into the killings, and like magic, they issued a report pinning the M23 as being culpable based only on what they called ‘eyewitnesses who were FDLR and Nyatura fighters who had fled after carrying out the killings maliciously planned from Kinshasa.
By licking Tshisekdi’s ass like this, MONUSCO hopes to appease the Kinshasa regime and their radical UDPS fanatics so they can spare them and go easy on demanding that they pack up and leave Congo. The last thing MONUSCO’s top dogs want is to lose out on the lucrative mineral trade deals.
But like the sorcerer, you cannot appease the Kinshasa regime and its radical fanatics. They are now shooting down their choppers and burning their vehicles once again hoping to project the crime onto M23, and guess who might once again come out to conduct ‘independent’ investigations on the shooting of the plane? MONUSCO, of course!
Although this time finding out with certainty who shot at the chopper is a no-brainer, you can never be sure with MONUSCO in its highly compromised state.
