Early October, when Tshisekedi launched attacks on M23 Position through his genocidal military coalition: FARDC-FDLR, Wazalendo, Mai-Mai, Nyatura, PARECO, CODECO and mercenaries, he thought defeating M23 would be a walk in the park. A month later, Tshisekedi’s military approach is in tatters, and M23 is still unscathed.
Presently, M23 has regained more territories like Kilorirwe, Nturo, Burungu and Tebero and is surrounding Goma town. All the territories were seized, when M23 was pushing back to Goma, the coalition of evil that had attacked the positions of the rebel. And for the time being, M23 is proximate to Goma.
Tshisekedi’s coalition which is in disarray, not only loses territories to M23 but also continues to abandon weapons and ammunition to the rebels. This confirms the fact that the coalition is undisciplined and poorly trained who can’t win a war for the regime. Tshisekedi who never ceases to initiate hopeless tasks, has bowed to the inevitable and launched a new joint operation between his marauding coalition and MONUSCO called “SpringBok to fight the M23. He is also persuading SADC to deploy in eastern DRC to fight the rebel.
In the meantime, the wazalendos from the coalition of evil have resorted to inhumane acts against Congolese Tutsis. In a very short time, two Congolese (Renzaho Habimana Jeremie and FARDC Captain Rukatura Gisore Patrick) were burned for merely being Tutsi. This is another proof that the regime’s coalition is also after a genocidal agenda.
Tshisekedi has failed in his quest to defeat the M23. All we are seeing is the last kicks of a dying horse. It is high time that his fellow unruly gaggle of henchmen abort this suicidal mission and adopt a diplomatic approach.
