Seizing yet another opportunity to whine, the Kinshasa regime pleaded with members of the UN Security Council who were on a three-day visit in DRC for the mandate of MONUSCO to be amended so that they could become their mercenaries to fight their wars.

In yet another embarrassing outcome since the serious flack handed to them, first by the Pope before French President Emmanuel Macron took away any hope for pity, the members of the UN Security Council told the Kinshasa regime to mature up and act responsibly.

The French Ambassador to the UN, Nicolas de Rivière told the Congolese leaders in their faces not to expect MONUSCO to replace FARDC and asked them to act responsibly and solve issues through political and diplomatic means.
