Very disturbing footage of FDLR and Mai-Mai militias shooting cows belonging to Congolese Tutsis in Tongo, Masisi region is trending on social networks, leaving the world quite shocked. In the meantime, Tshisekedi was hopping from one city to the other in the southern part of Africa, where he was trying to seduce SADC nations to send troops to fight the M23 rebels whose principal demand is for the Kinshasa respect the rights of Kinyarwanda-speaking Tutsi Congolese, and end their genocidal persecution.
Another footage emerged on social media showing residents of Kilorirwe, also in the Masisi region, demonstrating against the Burundi EACRF contingent who they said were looking the other side when FARDC and their coalition that includes FDLR, Mai-Mai Nyatura, CODECO, PARECO and APCLS attack them and kill them before taking away their cows.
Then another footage followed showing what the Kinshasa regime propagandists like Micombero, Stanis Bjakera, and others called ‘La fête’ (the party) where chunks of cow meat were on display in what looked like market stalls. Apparently, meat was being sold at a throw-away price and everyone was buying. Without a doubt, (the party) was the aftermath of the raid in Tongo by FARDC and their coalition.
It should be noted that the area where all these horrendous events are taking place is now under the control of the Burundi contingent who have received a very favorable evaluation by Tshisekedi, who he suggests should be their only EACRF contingent to stay behind when SADC forces ultimately replace the EACRF at the end of June. The tribulations of the Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese are only beginning.
Tshisekedi’s circus of running to SADC and his unfavorable utterances against the EAC force are all aimed at creating confusion as a distraction to project international and regional attention away from the heinous atrocities being committed in areas like Kilorirwe, Tongo, Ituri, and many other areas.
