The ruler of DRC, Felix Tshisekedi, has resorted to a cowardly ploy in his ongoing military campaigns against M23. Tshisekedi is now fronting innocent Congolese as human shields, to fight M23 following recent humiliating defeats in Goma and Bukavu.
Reports coming from Uvira in the far-south of Kivu have it that the bloody armed group under the pay of Tshisekedi, the Wazalendo militia, have been raiding homes of people and distributing arms, with the purpose of inciting them to face M23 “anytime they feel attacked.”
The objective of this cowardly act has been to field militarily untrained people to face the hardened fighters that liberated the Kivus, so that the Tshisekedi regime can later smear Afc-M23, that “they are massacring civilians” and “perpetrating crimes against humanity.
However, this desperate ploy of Tshisekedi’s did not fair well as planned. In Uvira M23, which already was aware of that dastardly plot, did not carry out any retaliatory fire, even after it was provoked by both Wazalendo and FARDC. The liberation army decided to pause, and study the terrain properly before engaging the provokers.
Similar shameful acts were initially carried out in Goma last week, where 130 FARDC soldiers masquerading as patients infiltrated Goma Hospital, with the aim of mass murdering patients, and destroying medical equipment facility.
M23 managed to neutralize the goons before they could achieve their aim.
M23 never attacked a hospital, contrary to lies and smears by the Kinshasa propaganda machine.
What in fact happened was that M23 fighters secured the hospital, to ensure access to medical care for those in urgent need. They did it after neutralizing Tshisekedi’s rogue elements that wanted to cause havoc and destruction and afterwards blame them.
Obviously, the Tshisekedi regime, bankrupt of ideas, is desperately trying anything, so as to frame M23 as “an armed force that commits war crimes in DRC” (and therefore should be targeted for international prosecution and sanctions).
Their problem is that every decent Congolese hates them
