While the international community is fixated on condemning the M23 movement, and loudly demanding their withdrawal from areas they have captured from the murderous grip of FARDC and its allied terrorist armed groups, the plight of Congolese Tutsi citizens has totally been ignored. The international community has naively allowed themselves to be distracted by the Kinshasa regime, which has cunningly managed to divert the attention of the world away from targeted killings in localities in eastern Congo that are predominantly inhabited by Congolese Tutsi pastoralists.

The Kinshasa regime has managed to mislead the world that all the problems of Congo are caused by the M23 movement. Very disappointingly, the international community has allowed itself to be manipulated by the Tshisekedi regime. The international community willingly swallows Kinshasa propaganda while suppressing alternative voices that have seek to demonstrate that Congo’s problems stem from a failed leadership that prefers to stir up hate speech, and incite genocide, to divert from its failures.

But all the vilification of the M23 movement has achieved only one result: to embolden the Kinshasa regime in its genocidal agenda against the Tutsi Community. Also, any Congolese people that are ready to speak out are extra-judicially disposed of. The atrocities of Kinshasa thus go on unabated.

The Congolese Tutsi community, seeing that the world has left them at the mercy of the Kinshasa regime, which has set the FARDC allied armed militia on them to kill and loot their property, have decided to flee for their lives, leaving behind their homes, and everything.

On top of all this, the withdrawal of the M23 movement from captured territory (an according to peace agreements) has only encouraged the FARDC – and allied armed terrorist groups such as FDLR – to escalate attacks against even more Congolese Tutsi communities.

This has to stop!

“Never again” has to mean “never again!”
