Olivier Schnakenberg, the German envoy to DRC, based in Kinshasa, is in serious trouble after voicing his country’s stand on the ongoing genocide against the Tutsi, perpetrated by the Kinshasa regime in North Kivu province, eastern DRC. This follows the German envoy’s meeting with the Honorary Vice President of DRC, Azarius Ruberwa, with whom he expressed his country’s sympathy and solidarity against the Congolese Government’s genocide against the Kinyarwanda speaking Congolese, hate speech, and witch-hunt by the Kinshasa regime.

The Kinshasa regime foreign minister, Christopher Lutundula, summoned the Ambassador after the meeting with Ruberwa and blackmailed him into silence by telling him that “DRC’s partners should show restraint and responsibility in their positions on delicate issues especially related to the war of aggression in the ‘east.” This has been the evil strategy of the Kinshasa regime, whereby they have blackmailed everyone, including the media into silence on the atrocities they continue to commit against Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese, which has intensified and escalated into a full-scale genocide since the beginning of last year.

By forcing everyone into silence, the Kinshasa regime has been able to hoodwink the international community to believe only their propaganda. However, as the Kinshasa regime intensifies its atrocities against the Tutsi community who started fleeing their villages en masse, the international community started to see the smoke and know that there must be a fire.

The Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese are encouraged by the courage of the German Ambassador, who has decided to break the silence and call out the Kinshasa regime for committing genocide. The rest of the international community must take the cue and condemn the Kinshasa regime before it is too late. It will be recorded in the books of history that the Kinshasa regime led by Tshisekedi committed genocide against the Tutsi, but the world must stand up and save those who are still alive today but are not sure if they will see another day because the FARDC and their allies the FDLR, Nyatura, Mai-Mai, CODECO, PARECO, APCLS are on the prowl night and day looking to kill all of them.
