Just last recently, the Rwanda Defence Forces-RDF through its 3 Division Commanding Officer Lt Col William Ryarasa unearthed a terrorist plot, by anti-Rwanda genocidal group- FDLR (backed by Kinshasa regime), against Rwanda which is expected to include grenade attacks in the city of Gisenyi and Musanze.
Subsequently, the Kinshasa regime through its army-FARDC issued a Communique about its readiness to repulse RDF attacks once its territory is invaded. One wonders why should an alert on FDLR by an RDF Commander make the Kinshasa regime panic, unless they are partners in the destabilization of Rwanda?
When an RDF Commander based in the east of the South of Rwanda, which borders Congo alerted residents to be vigilant about possible incursions by the FDLR with intentions to cause harm, the Kinshasa regime almost jumped out of their skin.
The Congolese army issued a lengthy press release laced with panic and fear, and it was clear that in their breathless response, they were not even sure what they were responding to!
In their response, the FARDC referred to a Rwanda Government statement which they said had hinted on the invasion of Congo. However, the alert was issued verbally by an RDF Commander during a meeting!
The fact that when one speaks of the “FDLR” and the Kinshasa regime responds provides further confirmation of a firmly entrenched collaboration.
