One Cure Ngoma, the spokesperson of the blacklisted terrorist, genocidal group FDLR (which has been integrated into the Congolese army-FARDC), has told the Voice of America that it (FDLR) is ready to attack Rwanda. In his own words, the FDLR mouthpiece proclaimed: “we are ready, as we have always been preparing, to attack Rwanda anytime”.
This statement vindicates the Rwanda army- RDF who had previously issued an alert concerning the potentiality of more efforts by FDLR to once again attempt to carry out acts aimed at destabilizing Rwanda.
Incidentally, the statement by FDLR comes after their allies, FARDC leadership released a very strong worded press release aimed at rebutting the Rwanda army’s FDLR alert, where they claimed that “our Army will not allow never to serve as a rear base for the destabilization of a neighboring country from our territory”.
Curiously, the FDLR has always come out to contradict their allies whenever they make statements that attempt to minimize their threat to Rwanda or outrightly deny their presence in DRC.
The good thing is that the Kinshasa regime only continues to show that they are an unhinged group of unreliable goons who should not be trusted as international partners.
