Having lost a large chunk of Northern Kivu territory, the Congolese army, FARDC, and its allies have now resorted to retaliate against Tutsi (Congolese citizens) civilians in South-Kivu. The motley group of bandits known as FARDC together with its FDLR and Wazalendo terrorist allies are mostly targeting the Banyamulenge native communities of South Kivu, massacring them, raping, and looting their livestock.
Reports indicate that more than 50 cattle keepers in the area of Karingi, Mikenge, Kabombo, all in the territory of Uvira are suffering the brunt of the attacks. Other than getting killed, they are being abducted while their women folk suffer the additional horror of rape, their houses get razed, and their cattle are looted to be eaten.
Tshisekedi and his groups of marauding criminals are like a curse of locusts upon DR Congo.
Reports further indicate that among FARDC commandants that have been conducting bloody operations against the Banyamulenge, there is Maj. Burakari (only name known), an FDLR terror monger deployed in South Kivu to wreak havoc on the Tutsis Communities.
Burundian soldiers deployed in different areas of South-Kivu are equally accomplices in the ethnic-cleansing crimes. The role of Burundian soldiers in supporting Tshisekedi’s mission of turning DRC into a killing field is indisputable.
This all is happening in full sight of the world. None of the so-called rights groups, whether local, continental or international, is stepping forward to denounce these crimes against humanity authored by Tshisekedi. There isn’t even a call for sanctions against the criminal Kinshasa regime!
One can only root for the only force for sanity in that chaotic country, which is the M23 movement that’s fighting for the rights, not mentioning survival itself, of Congolese Tutsi citizens, and stop the ongoing genocide.
