Yesterday, the Democratic Republic of Congo sentenced four alleged members of the Alliance Fleuve Congo (AFC) movement to death on charges of alleged treason and ridiculous charges of ‘acts of sabotaging the national security.’
You can be sure everything about the case is fabricated, and a travesty of Justice.
Of those “sentenced” is Corneille Nangaa the current leader of AFC – the political and diplomatic wing of M23 – who also is its overall political commissar.
In his reckless and uncouth statements, Constant Mutamba the buffoon that’s “Justice Minister” of DRC said the (three) convicted members of the AFC, who are imprisoned in maximum security in Makala prison, will be executed soon while the country is “working on the arrest warrant of Corneille Nangaa” in Bunagana.
Every sane Congolese knows that executing innocent people on concocted charges will not solve the deep entrenched Congo political and security malaise.
The plight of Tutsis Congolese citizens who are persecuted everyday by a military of armed thugs and criminal militias on the payroll of the Tshisekedi regime can’t be obscured through attempts to hoodwink public opinion with kangaroo court trials against innocent people.
It is so ludicrous to issue an arrest warrant for a person like Corneille Nangaa by a bunch of goons in Kinshasa running the most criminal regime in Africa currently. The AFC and its armed wing, M23 are fighting back against ethnic cleansing and genocide, which Tshisekedi has been conducting in eastern DRC, to wipe out Congolese Tutsi communities. Additionally the AFC/M23 fight to restore peace and security in the whole of DRC, and they are popular (forget about the sick propaganda of Tshisekedi mouthpiece Patrice Muyaya).
These thugs will come to deeply regret what they are doing today.
