Following the capture of Goma by glorious fighters of the M23 movement, there is no doubt Congo ruler Tshisekedi’s chances of negotiating are running short. The daft tyrant is losing badly, his coalition of FARDC, FDLR, Burundian troops, SADC allies, Wazalendo terrorists getting badly routed, running away, or surrendering.

When the M23 heroes descended upon Goma from Mubambiro, Sake and other surrounding places, it was quickly clear how jubilant the population was to welcome them, and the happiness and relief of being liberated from the clutches of thugs was everywhere.

With Goma in the hands of M23, Tshilombo is in hot water. The situational analysis is that his hold onto power has become very perilous with the fall of Goma. It’s very possible to overthrow Tshilombo, and he isn’t invincible as he had portrayed himself.

Now the idiot is filled with regrets. If he wasn’t a greedy, arrogant buffoon, he would have accepted negotiations two years ago. His reasoning capacity is too limited however.

Looking back, the missed opportunity to negotiate two years ago when M23 captured Bunagana now looks a catastrophic mistake. Tshisekedi’s arrogance and greed had clouded his judgment. He had refused to see the writing on the wall, dismissing the growing liberators as terrorists.  He is paying dearly today.

No doubt after taking Goma, M23 will now head further south, to liberate Bukavu, and the rest will be history. Tshilombo is toast actually!

Already other regions like Lubumbashi, Walikale, Kisangani and others where he is already hated, the people themselves will ask the army not to fight M23 at all. The western parts which include Kinshasa might put up some resistance, but it will quickly crumble.

The bandit ruler will soon be driven out, his gross figure remaining only as a bad memory!
