In an interview with local and foreign journalists, close to 12 FARDC soldiers captured on the battlefields of Kibumba on 20th of November have disclosed how DRC government worked closely with FDLR fighters! FDLR mostly fill in for the Congolese army, FARDC.
This should be an international outrage! Tshisekedi and his military are openly in bed with FDLR, to finish Tutsi Congolese citizens.
According to Lt. Colonel Hassan Adrien Kimonoka, Commander of ‘213 Battalion’ who was in charge of Operations and Intelligence (as well as one of the other captured twelve soldiers), there has been an open collaboration in the framework of intelligence, mobilization, and operations between the two groups (FARDC-FDLR).
Kimonoka and eleven other prisoners stated that on top of military cooperation in fighting M23, or in launching attacks on Rwandan territory, FDLR had previously been given leeway to propagate the genocidal ideology into different communities in Eastern DRC. Mostly the ones they have been indoctrinating with the ideology of genocide were people of Hutu communities, whom they would inondate with hate speech targeting Congolese Tutsi ethnicities. FDLR obviously believes it has “unfinished business” in Rwanda – i.e. extermination of all Tutsis!
The captured FARDC men also disclosed that DRC officials had instructed FARDC commanders in the fields to work out a plan that would allow members of FDLR have access to mining concessions, and to access deep forests in search for timber. FDLR would then sell the resources, to procure arms and ammunitions to use in their ultimate terrorist or genocidal goals.
Systematic integration of FDLR within Congolese national forces was mostly to provide a robust support to the FARDC in the mutual goal of destabilizing Rwanda.
Like it has become too obvious, DRC regime head Tshisekedi has not only domesticated the blacklisted terror, genocidal group FDLR, he had equally devised means to make them his political tool, bargaining chip, as well as partners in all other crimes.
