The Kinshasa regime has come up with yet another scatterbrained propaganda scheme to vilify the M23 Movement. It has been displaying dead militias of the FARDC and FDLR, with lies that these are “innocent civilians” killed by M23.
The truth is that soldiers of the FARDC (the Congolese army) and FDLR terrorist militias, disguised as “local defense militias” have been on a rampage recently, violating the Luanda brokered ceasefire by breaking through the EACRF buffer zone (in areas of Masisi) to attack fighters of the M23 Movement. The latter who have withdrawn, in compliance with the Luanda agreement. Well, the FARDC and their FDLR friends have again discovered the folly of their ways, getting taught a very hard lesson, and those corpses are testimony of that.
Since the M23 have vowed that they would defend themselves if attacked during the ceasefire, they have been repulsing the FARDC and FDLR attacks and in the process causing many casualties on the attackers – as usual.
The shamed (and shameless) Kinshasa regime who have now mastered the victim strategy so well however then hit on the strategy of gathering their casualties, to display them with the dastardly propaganda that they are civilians killed by M23 – of course to call up condemnation against the latter. But everyone has gotten wise to Tshisekedi regime tricks, and no one is buying their cockamamie lies.
The Kinshasa regime has told every lie in the book in their bid to have the International Community come down hard on the M23 Movement. By so doing, Kinshasa hopes to have the ongoing genocide of the Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese swept under the rag without justice being served.
With this, the Kinshasa regime also craves the intervention of the International Community – the better for Tshisekedi to stifle the M23 cause, and further deny the Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese their rights to citizenship and ancestral land.
But no amount of lies will ever conceal Tshisekedi regime’s crimes and evil, since their felonies are always committed in broad daylight.
