Former National President of the UDPS (Felix Tshisekedi’s party) Jean Marc Kabund has blown the whistle on his former boss, Tshisekedi, telling Congolese to vote for Tshisekedi at their own risk.

Kabund, a man who knows Tshisekedi better than anyone else in the ruler’s inner circle, demonstrated unequalled bravery when he publicly told fellow Congolese that Tshisekedi was not what he was pretending to be.

“ I ask the people of Congo to deny Tshisekedi even a single vote. We must all do everything possible to ensure that Felix Tshisekedi is not elected or even given another opportunity to steal the vote because the country is in grave danger if, god forbid, he continues to rule us after the upcoming elections,” Kabund said.

The former right-hand man of Tshisekedi cautioned the Congolese people that should they allow Tshisekedi to stay in power for another term, they should be prepared to endure another period of misery, insecurity, poverty, economic decay, human rights abuses, corruption and many other ills.

Kabund, who made the brave call when he appeared before Tshisekedi’s kangaroo court, is being charged with five outrageous crimes, including ‘contempt of Parliament and the Government’, ‘offending the Head of State’ and ‘spreading false rumors.’

Everyone is fearing for the life of Kabund because going by Tshisekedi’s modus operandi when dealing with opponents, Kabund could one morning be found dead in his car, his body riddled with bullets, and Tshisekedi would be promising “investigations.”
