For the past two weeks, in a horrifying wave of violence, at least 10 elderly individuals have been brutally killed in Ngungu village in eastern DR Congo. The victims were targeted only because they were Tutsi, a result of the ongoing campaign of hate and ethnic cleaning against them by the government of Tshilombo.

Just yesterday, Burundian soldiers who were retreating from their defenses following a routing defeat at the hands of M23 fighters, raided houses of Janvier Kavunjo and Jean Muhaya, elderly people of 80 and 90 years, and butchered them in the most horrifying brutal ways. The killers later looted their house, taking away cattle and other belongings.

Reports on the ground show that the Burundi soldiers (FNDB) were not acting alone. They collaborated with the notorious genocidal FDLR, and the local Wazalendo cannibal militia (all who work with, or for the Tshisekedi regime) in a campaign of terror that left the Ngungu community in shock.

It is important to highlight that the recent United Nations group of experts (UN GoE) has deliberately omitted any mention of these atrocities in its reports – further confirmation that these UN crooks are in Tshisekedi’s pockets.

Yet the complicity of both the Burundian and Congolese governments in these atrocities and crimes against humanity should be recorded, for the world to know the truth. The harrowing events in Ngungu are a stark reminder of the level of ethnic cleansing in DRC, which the international community has decided to sweep under the carpet.

The blood of innocent Tutsis in Ngungu cries out for justice.

They should never be let down.
